Hi, I'm a Service Advisor at Sterling Motorcars. I've been in the area for two years, originally from Westminster, MD. Before joining the team, I studied at Johnson & Wales University and also spent time in Guatemala. I have certifications in culinary arts and life coaching, and I'm proud to have received an award for leadership in my coaching work. My approach to customer service is built on genuine connection. I believe in taking the time to really get to know people – asking how they are, how I can support them, and even chatting about movies, books, or whatever they feel comfortable sharing. I work hard to create a positive environment within our team, and I love that we support each other throughout the day. Our community feels close-knit and supportive, both within the workplace and beyond. I'm passionate about helping customers achieve their goals for their vehicles and providing them with a service experience that makes them want to return. Candice provided exceptional service on multiple occasions, all of which involved complex situations. From the first greeting to the final text message, Candice demonstrated above-average leadership, communication, and empathy. I worked with her on three separate service items, and throughout each one, she remained fully committed to professionalism. At one point, a misunderstanding on my part caused me to become upset. Candice handled the situation with grace — she never became flustered or took things personally, and instead stayed focused on finding a resolution. She went above and beyond by not only delivering the service I needed, but by actively seeking creative solutions to each situation. I highly recommend Candice and believe she deserves to be recognized and rewarded with opportunities for growth. Customers are drawn to BMW for the engineering, the product, the sales experience, and the ongoing service experience. Each matters just as much as the other. I cannot emphasize enough that Candice is patient, professional, friendly, and empathetic. The one area where I would suggest greater effort — for the service department as a whole — is in communicating the value of the services being performed. Some services carry a significant cost, and customers may not always understand what they're paying for. Understanding the value of a highly technical service and improving how that knowledge is shared with customers would go a long way. When a customer truly understands the value they're receiving, the price of the service bill becomes far less of a concern. This focus would help BMW of Sterling deliver an even stronger overall experience.
